Good evening Windstepper families. Today was day one of the AAU Nationals!
Sariyah Rand placed 4th in the 12 year old girls 1500m race walk! We have our first medal winner for the week!
Tomorrow we have Tashaun Turk and Dorceus Hubbert competing in the 3000m Racewalk at noon.
There is also a racewalk clinic at the track at 9:30am if anyone is interested in learning the technique for that from some professionals.
Make sure to get with Coach John when you arrive so you can get your athletes bag with their tshirt, bib, and wristband. They will need this wristband each day. They will need the bib the days they compete. There is a replacement charge for both of these items.

Parking was crazy today, and will only get worse throughout the week. Please be prepared to walk. Keep this in mind when planning your arrival time.
Let us know when you get on the road, make it to NC, and what your room number is when you check in.
